Energy Technology Singapore
Started operations in August 2008, this is Singapore's first and only lithium ion polymer battery manufacturing plant. This highly automated plant will utilize cutting-edge equipment and technologies to manufacture lithium ion polymer batteries for use in cellular phones.

Machinist

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily routine parts machining, re-conditioning or fabrication according to the requirement.
• Perform raw materials control & administrative support to Superior.
• Perform jobs/tasks given according to the instruction, operation standard & procedure.
• Provide technical support to production line & daily feedback or any abnormality to Superior.
• Ensure machinery, tools & jigs are well maintained & in proper control.
• Ensure raw materials are sufficient & available for the assigned jobs/tasks.
• Understand & reduce the Significant Environmental Impact of your work area.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a NITEC Intermediate/NITEC/Higher NITEC in Metal Machining, Precision Machining or Tool & Die-making with a minimum of 1 year working experience.
• Good knowledge in conventional milling, turning, surface & cylindrical grinding.
• Knowledge in Mazatrol or EIA/ISO programming will be an added advantage.
